Each box is one mapped movement. Width is exactly proportional to DV beat duration, while BPM controls performance tempo.

How the DV Tai Chi player works

All 76 programs run on one shared DV beat clock. The articulated 3D performer continuously interpolates the hands, elbows, shoulders, waist, knees and feet throughout each written duration. The grounded-step engine keeps the support foot planted, empties and lifts the stepping foot, places the heel, and transfers weight only after contact. Changing BPM stretches movement and music together without rewriting the score.

  • Learning mode uses a slower tempo, Mandarin form cues and optional step-by-step study.
  • Practice mode uses a steady training tempo with synchronized music and full continuous playback.
  • Performance mode uses a more flowing tempo, no spoken interruption and the complete music arrangement.
  • Male / female changes the visible 3D performer and available Mandarin voice profile.
  • Ten music scores provide distinct xiao, qin, bowed-string, bell, drone and rain-like generative arrangements. Every score is created locally from a pentatonic pitch system and remains synchronized to the movement durations.
